Here are STEM’s current prayer requests as of December 05, 2007:
- Praise! — 45 teams booked for 2007! (that was the “goal” we believe the Lord gave us)
- Praise! — More than two dozen STEM Teams continued to help clean up and bring God’s love to Gulf Coast areas still devated from the 2005 Katrina storm.
- Praise! —Mission Maker Magazine 2008 was successfully completed on time and delivered into the mailstream on October 12, 2007.
- STEM Dec 31, 2007 yr-end finances — We are projecting roughly an –$81,000 shortfall, or –7% below budget; please pray that the Lord will provide timely, full funding for this potential deficit through donations and/or product sales.
- 46 Teams for 2008 — For at least 40 STEM Ministries Teams, and 4 STEM Share Teams booked and successfully fielded during 2008 (16 Teams currently booked).
- 2009 Olympics — How should STEM be involved in this unique opportunity next summer?
- Dan Rickett Book — Pray that STEM Press’ editing, design, and re-publishing work will enable get Dr. Rickett’s book, Building Strategic Relationships, to be printed on time and on budget … and that forthcoming marketing and distribution will go well beginning the 1st Quarter 2008.
- Haiti Base Closedown by Year-End — After having a full-time staff presence in Haiti for more than 20 years, it has come time to close down our full-time base; pray that all asset sales and transfers will be completed without problem by year-end; pray that more STEM Teams will still continue to minister in Haiti through new partners (Field Facilitators) that STEM has established.
