Join or Form a STEM Team!
We'd love to partner with you! If you’ve spent some time on this website, and sense God calling you to either join or form a STEM Ministries Team, it’s time to make direct contact with STEM.
If you still need more information (either as an individual or as a group leader):

If you’re ready to sign up right now, then follow the instructions below to either:
- Join a Team as an individual (1–11 people), or
- Form a Team as a group leader (12–30 people).
- NOTE: STEM Share Teams have their own application process.
Join a Team!
If you’re ready to sign up right now for any "open" STEM Ministries Team:
- Download a copy of the 7-page STEM Team Registration Packet .
- Print and Read the entire 7 page Packet, including the Release Statements at the end.
- Complete and Sign the
3-page Team Registration Form (pages 5–7) for each individual who wants
to join the Team. Use a black pen or typewriter.
- Make your $75 Registration Fee payable to “STEM” ($75 for each Form submitted).
- Send your completed Registration Form(s) and Registration Fee(s) to: STEM Team Operations, PO Box
386001, Minneapolis MN 55438-6001.
- You may fax your completed Registration Form or scan the Form and email it to us an an attached PDF file (be sure to include all 3 pages).
- You must then pay your $75 Registration Fee via either postal mail or via major credit card at the secure Donations/Payments/Support page on this website — in either event, specify exactly what person(s) the Registration Fee is for.
Form Your Own Team!
As a group leader of your church, campus, or other organization, you can form your own STEM Ministries Team with 12–30 people nearly any time of the year to any country where STEM works (see below for STEM Share Teams to 10/40 Window Nations).
If you’re ready to form a STEM Ministries Team and get your group officially booked:
- Call STEM Team Operations toll-free at 1-877-STEM-646

- Have the following information ready at your fingertips (or included in your email):
- Your church or organization’s complete “corporate” contact information
- Complete “personal” contact information on your two key people (yourself and a second person)
- Let us know whether it’s you or another person who has your church or organization’s authority to make all of the team-related decisions and commitments with STEM
- Let us know whether your church or organization can abide by STEM’s Doctrinal Statement of Faith
- Your estimate of the number of Team Members you will have from your group
- The location(s) of the mission field(s) you are considering
- The approximate (or exact) dates you’ve got in mind
- Whether you want to book an “Open” status Team or a “Charter” status Team
- “Open” status requires a guaranteed minimum of 12 people from your church or organization (or from your immediate area), and will be available to any other individuals or small groups from anywhere else who want to join your Team, pending STEM’s acceptance of their Registration Forms and References.
- “Charter” status requires a guaranteed minimum of 20 people from your church or organization (or from your immediate area); STEM will not allow individuals outside of your church or organization to join your Team unless you specifically allow them.
- STEM Sending Partner Contract: based on your information, STEM Team Operations will write up a “STEM Sending Partner Contact” (this outlines specific payment amounts due and the payment schedule, other deadlines, and other pertinent agreement information). We’ll send it to you right away.
- Sign and return the Contract with your $600 Team Deposit. As soon as you sign and authorize the “Sending Partner Contact” and return it to STEM along with your $600 STEM Team Deposit, you will have officially booked your team!
