PROJECT:
• Laid concrete foundation for a store; drywall; wired (in the rough) a house; swept city
streets and parks.
• Hung, taped & mudded drywall for a lady who, despite her personal losses to Katrina,
serves volunteers and the homeless at a local kitchen
• Laid and tied rebar in preparation for concrete to be poured for a local restaurant that is
rebuilding
• Wired the house of a local officer who was injured recovering victims of Katrina
MINISTRY:
• Taught at a children's daycare.
• Ministered to a woman whose car was blocking traffic because of a flat tire. Ramon had
her move the car; he changed the tire while the girls on the team talked with her and
shared the love of Jesus. She cried in gratitude.
• Provided help during day camp for a local church that was heavily damaged from Katrina
• Pointed people who had no hope to the one true loving God we serve
